1.Introduction
FluteOS Inc. ("FluteOS," "FlutéOS," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you access or use the FlutéOS platform and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By using the Service you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service. This policy applies to all users, including venue operators, staff members, and guests who interact with FlutéOS-powered experiences.
2.Information We Collect
Account and Organization Data. When you register for FlutéOS we collect your name, email address, business name, billing details, and any other information you provide during onboarding.
Usage and Operational Data. We automatically collect log data, device identifiers, IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and feature interactions as you use the platform. This helps us maintain reliability and improve the Service.
Venue and Guest Data. As part of normal platform operation, FlutéOS processes data you upload or generate — menus, reservations, guest profiles, loyalty records, and point-of-sale transactions. You remain the data controller for this information; we act as a data processor on your behalf.
Communications. If you contact our support team, we retain records of that correspondence to resolve issues and improve our service quality.
3.How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve the Service; process transactions and send related administrative communications; respond to support requests; analyze usage trends to enhance product features; and comply with our legal obligations.
We may use aggregate, de-identified data for research, benchmarking, and product analytics. This data cannot reasonably be used to identify any individual or organization.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use venue guest data for advertising purposes unrelated to the services you have contracted with us.
4.Data Sharing
Service Providers. We share data with vetted third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf — such as cloud infrastructure, payment processing, email delivery, and analytics. These vendors are contractually bound to use data only as directed by FluteOS.
Integrations. FlutéOS connects to third-party services (POS systems, reservation platforms, CRM tools) at your direction. Data shared with those integrations is governed by their respective privacy policies.
Legal Requirements. We may disclose information when required by applicable law, court order, or governmental authority, or when necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of FluteOS, our users, or the public.
Business Transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to the same commitments made in this policy.
5.Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest, role-based access controls, audit logging, and regular security assessments.
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
6.Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data we hold about you. You may also have the right to restrict or object to certain processing, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at privacy@fluteos.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally 30 days). We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
7.Cookies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to authenticate sessions, remember your preferences, and gather usage analytics. For full details on the cookies we use and how to manage them, please review our Cookie Policy.
You can control cookie behavior through your browser settings. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Service.
